How to record your neck measurement
Measure the circumference of the neck at a point just below the larynx (Adam's apple) and round up to the nearest half-inch.
How to record your abdomin measurement
Measure the abdominal circumference at the navel, level to the floor. Take the measurement at the end of a normal, relaxed exhalation and round the abdominal measurement down to the nearest half-inch.
How to record your elbow measurement
Extend your arm and bend the forearm upward at a 90 degree angle. Keep your fingers straight and turn the inside of your wrist toward your body. Measure the space between the two prominant bones on either side of your elbow using your thumb and a finger. Then use a ruler to measure the distance between your thumb and finger.
How to record your neck measurement
Measure the circumference of the neck at a point just below the larynx (Adam's apple) and round up to the nearest half-inch.
How to record your waist measurement
Measure the natural waist circumference at the point of minimal abdominal circumference, usually located about half-way between the navel and the lower end of the sternum (breast bone). If you can't easily find this spot, take several measurements at various places and take the lowest value. Record your waist measurement at the end of a relaxed, normal exhalation and round down to the nearest half-inch.
How to record your hip measurement
Measure the hip circumference by placing the tape measure around the hips so that it passes over the greatest protrustion of the gluteal muscles (buttocks) and is level to the floor. Apply sufficient tension to the tape measure so the effect of clothing is minimized and round down to the nearest half-inch.
How to record your elbow measurement
